IPA5 ( IP5 ) Ipamorelin
✔️Most selective GH releaser
✔️No cortisol/prolactin increase
✔️Clean, isolated GH release
✔️Excellent safety profile
📚 In-Depth Research Profile
Mechanism of Action
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide that selectively activates the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a). What makes it unique among GHRPs is its exceptional selectivity — it stimulates GH release without measurably affecting cortisol, prolactin, aldosterone, or hunger (ghrelin-like effects). It is considered the 'cleanest' GHRP available.
Therapeutic Uses
- •Selective GH release: Gold standard for GH stimulation without unwanted hormonal side effects.
- •Post-surgical recovery: Studied for accelerating recovery, including bone fracture healing and post-operative gut function.
- •Body composition: Supports lean mass gain and fat reduction through selective GH elevation.
- •Sleep optimization: GH pulses during sleep are amplified without affecting sleep architecture.
Empirical Evidence
Raun K et al. (Eur J Endocrinol 1998) — GH release potency comparable to GHRP-6 but without appetite stimulation or cortisol elevation. Beck DE et al. (Dis Colon Rectum 2008) — Phase 2 trial showed earlier return of bowel function post-surgery.
